UPDATE UPDATE UPDATE ***** Lunedi 10/19/09 *****
Aggiornamento <Personal da Damian>
Tu e io sappiamo quanto sia importante la vostra famiglia può essere (chi sono nella vostra vita), e l'altra notte ho confidato in te (come il mio amico fidato) di mio nonno, che è andato inconscio Venerdì ed è stato ricoverato in terapia intensiva.
Non avevo detto che il suo prete aveva anche ricoverato in ospedale per dargli l'estrema unzione, è così che molto grave è stato a quel punto. In realtà era completamente blu, e abbiamo davvero fatto pensare che fosse.
Ecco cosa ha causato, che accidentalmente gli ha dato troppo colorante imaging cardiaco che ha iniziato a inondare i polmoni. Mia nonna era nella stanza e in realtà doveva correre fuori per ottenere gli infermieri, poi 7 infermieri e membri dello staff di corsa e lui ruote estremamente veloce verso l'altro lato dell'ospedale.
Il suo cuore batteva a un punto estremo della velocità causata da una reazione di questo colorante, come abbiamo scoperto più tardi, così come non riusciva a respirare. Doveva essere colpito con un defribrillator così come ossigeno dato ...
Lo sapevi quando hai circostanze che tutto si sgonfi e ti fanno venir voglia semplicemente ad arricciarsi e piangere, che ci sia ancora speranza?
Bene è così che mi sentivo il Venerdì, totalmente vulnerabile, indifesa, ed estremamente triste. Ho scritto la mail qui sotto per raggiungere e sai cosa - che mi ha veramente aiutato. Perché? Beh, mentre stavo sdraiato sul divano con il mio computer - molto triste dopo aver già piangendo e con un grande mal di testa, ho continuato a colpire refresh.Why? Tante preghiere e commenti venivano in!
Ho continuato a leggerli. Poi cominciarono ad arrivare le e-mail-in tutti i 250 messaggi + finora (quasi 1.000 persone hanno aperto la mia posta prima e leggerlo, e sono sicuro che molti altri stavano pregando troppo e augurandoci bene!) ...
Io credo nel potere della preghiera e accordo da amici fidati. So di avere la responsabilità di aiutare le persone (come tutti noi), e quello che ho pensato in quel momento è che, se ci va, il modo per onorarlo è quello di fare sul serio ad aiutare le persone il più possibile attraverso il rapporto abbiamo-incoraggiamento, guida e comprensione.
Questo non sempre significa essere solo soft-vuol dire che ti dice cosa funziona, cosa devi fare, e in piedi da voi il vostro viaggio fino a tornare, tutti noi crescere insieme, aiutandosi a vicenda ...
Beh sai cosa? Lo ha fatto per mezzo di quella notte. Sabato mattina, era ancora incosciente , E hanno deciso di provare a portarlo dal ventilatore per vedere se riusciva a respirare. Sai cosa? Lo ha fatto! Poi ognuno è stato appena seduti attorno nella stanza e intorno 1215PM il Sabato, abbiamo sentito questa voce come "quello che è successo?"
Eravamo come - "sei in ospedale - che stai facendo bene tu sarai ok" - e poi abbiamo appena iniziato a parlare tutti. Era molto debole non avendo mangiato per 2 giorni + e solo avere un IV. Ma, ha effettivamente iniziato a scherzare un po 'nella prossima ora, poi disse che aveva fame.
Oggi - lo hanno spostato in una camera normale! Ha ancora alcune procedure di Mercoledì e Giovedì, in modo da mantenere le preghiere e pensieri. Ma lo abbiamo di nuovo e questo è qualcosa di cui far tesoro.

Questo è solo un breve messaggio per favore, pregate o inviare i tuoi auguri a me stasera. Stanotte mio nonno andò in Unità di terapia intensiva con problemi cardiaci e polmonari, e non è cosciente al momento.
E 'in Louisiana stasera, e io possa avere a saltare sul primo volo che è sera Tomm.
Io lo amo tanto e spero davvero che lui lo fa. Quando ero bambino i miei genitori erano divorziati, e non c'è troppo. Mi sentivo abbastanza solo a volte.
Ecco dove i miei nonni è entrato, ero l'unico nipote, quindi era come i miei nonni erano i miei genitori o addirittura i miei migliori amici - attraverso alcuni momenti piuttosto difficili. Io ero con loro tutto il tempo - hanno cucinato per me, mi ha portato a comprare vestiti, mi ha portato a scuola e chiesa.
Sempre così gentile e volere il meglio per me. Lol mia nonna sarebbe nemmeno darmi enormi piatti di cibo e dire "non hai mangiato niente!" (Essere Italiani che era importante per mangiare un sacco!)
Siamo ancora molto vicini, mia nonna Irene, nonno Filippo e me. Mio nonno suonava il sassofono e mi ricordo quando ero piccolo andavano a ballare a 50 la musica e solo amava avere un buon tempo e ridere e scherzare.
Nessuno è perfetto, ma sono alcune delle persone più gentili e più dare si potrà mai incontrare. Quindi, per favore questa sera prima di andare a letto, dire una preghiera, se è possibile per il mio nonno Philip.

Ho giurato che non importa ciò che accade nella mia vita avrei sempre preso cura di lei, perché dopo che papà morì aveva solo 25 y / o con 7 figli e non risposato solo perché voleva prendersi cura di noi.
La guardo ora e tutti i sacrifici che faceva per noi, io l'amo ogni giorno di più. Voglio essere in grado di dormire la notte sapendo che ho fatto del mio meglio per prendersi cura di lei.
Possiamo cambiare i nostri amici di tutti i giorni della nostra vita, ma i nostri genitori sono qui per restare. Vedono la vita tra alti e bassi per assicurarsi che non i loro figli andare senza.
Pregherò per tuo nonno bello perché so quanto tu lo ami per quello che ha dato in sacrificio per voi. E 'divertente, perché proprio oggi stavo parlando con qualcuno dei nostri genitori anziani. Sai che prendersi cura di noi quando siamo poco e quando invecchiano, noi dovremmo prenderci cura di loro. Quello è come la vita vuole essere. So che lo amo molto e il mio cuore è con voi. Sono sicuro che lui sa quanto si piangere per lui, perché i loro figli, dobbiamo essere lì per loro. Lui sa quanto sei importante per lui.
Ricorda che non siamo soli, penserò a voi e Filippo e dire una preghiera per lui. Devi essere forte per tua nonna. Siete tutto ciò che potrà mai avere nella sua vita.

We are indeed happy that we all prayed with you and you are now happy! Probably I was in such a serious condition in 2004 when I had a triple by-pass surgery in Delhi and our faith in God helped me pull through. So, I am not amazed at your grandfather's turnaround.
The defribillator has certainly helped.Your anxiety to help your friends through crises may now include, in my humble opinion, Damien (exclusive of your chosen choice), helping American Public opinion to reduce the cost of such treatments to those who cannot somehow get them now without radical healthcare reforms. I am sure this is the need of the hour.
This will surely please your grandfather immensely!

My entire church will keep your whole family in prayer. I leave in a few minutes to go and conduct bible study, and we will lift you all up in prayer. The question is not how your blessing will come, but when, and if prayers go up blessings will come down. That's a fact that is unchanging. I need all of you to pray for me also. I will go to surgery next month for prostate cancer, and even though I know it will be fine, I still need all of the prayers I can get!!
